The Jevington

Description
Sofa with traditional deep buttoned back panel and feather down quilted wrap.

The church in the village of Jevington, dating from 900 AD, has a defensive tower.

This was the refuge from the Vikings when they invaded the area to kill those who were suppling the port of King Alfred the Great.
Materials used
Frame made with certified sustainable kiln dried hardwood.

Seat cushion foam core with feather down quilted wrap, for maximum comfort.

Sinuous wiring sprung seat and back.
Craft notes
The roll on the back and arms was deliberately widened to allow for anyone to sit along the length of the back as the sofa forms part of a central seating area in a large private hallway.
