The Wisborough
Description
An intricately designed TV cabinet with a rise and fall mechanism inside.
The first documented evidence of the village, recorded as Wisbregh and Wyseber, is in 1227 in correspondence between Henry III and the Church.
Materials used
The piece is manufactured from Oak veneer shapes which form the deisgn on the outside.
The plinth and top are manufactured from oak veneered boards, all the veneering is done in our workshop.
The back is removable for the installation of a Future Automation TV rise and fall system.
The piece has been finished in a light whitewash which highlights the changing grain directions.
Craft notes
Each individual shape was cut out on our CNC and then put together like a puzzle to create this striking pattern on all 4 sides of the piece.
A section of the top rolls away inside the box to allow for the TV to appear from within the box.
This design can be value engineered to suit your preferred style, dimensions and budget.
Made by hand in our Sussex workshop
